Lesson Plan:
Lesson plans provide caregivers with a framework to promote effective learning---they are a critical catalyst to the successful implementation of our video-based teaching program. Features include:
- Outlined to provide teachers with clear teaching objectives, the lesson plans contain vast selections of variations on ways to reinforce the concepts, skills, and activities presented in the corresponding video modules.
- The many activity selections include options for children of all functional abilities
- Numerous teaching tips and ideas allow teachers to revisit the same skill as often as necessary. The lessons will be fresh and new each time!
- Lesson activities are planned to reinforce the skill in a natural, child-directed way. By carefully selecting activities for each child from the lesson plans, teachers personalize skill teaching and thereby promote faster acquisition and generalization of the skill.
- Each lesson provides references to ABLLS™-R measured skills in order to facilitate improved IEP planning and/or individual program planning.
