Blake Lowell, M.Ed, BCABA
Blake Lowell is a Board Certified Associate Behavior Analyst in Dallas, TX. As the Autism Program Specialist in the Frisco Independent School District, she supports students with autism and their teachers in the educational environment. Blake also consults with area school districts and Educational Service centers providing training in the use of Applied Behavior Analysis in the classroom setting |

Allan Goldblatt PA-D
Allan Goldblatt PA-C has been treating ASD children for the past 7 years as a medical professional. He is presently working with Autism Spectrum Medical of New York, a DAN (Defeat Autism Now!) M.D. practice. He is noted by his colleagues and patients for his dedication and his state-of-the-art competence in navigating the various treatment scenarios that vary so widely for each of his patients. His work speaks of his dedication to the pursuit of a cure and his belief that such a thing is possible within his lifetime. His compassion is a sign of the exceptionally personal care he provides for the families and children impacted most directly by Autism.
Allan is a frequent guest lecturer at DAN (Defeat Autism Now) Conferences where he addresses the genetic and biochemical discoveries that have led to breakthroughs in the understanding of autistic spectrum disorders. |

David P. Traver, M.D., F.A.A.P
A graduate of the Boston University School of Medicine, Dr. Traver is a board certified pediatrician and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Traver worked for a year as a pediatrician in the Pervasive Developmental Disorder/ Neuropsychiatry Clinic in Stanford Medical Center's Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. In addition to his time in this clinic, Dr. Traver also spent a year becoming familiar with the medical management of patients with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. Dr. Traver is a DAN!T practitioner and runs a clinic devoted exclusively to the treatment of Autistic Spectrum Disorders. |

Susan M. Watson, MS, RN, CPNP
Susan Watson is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with a DAN clinic, The Allergy & Immunology Autism Associates of New York, in Woodbury. She is a Clinical Instructor for the Pediatrics Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics at SUNY Stony Brook University Medical Center Department of Medicine. |

Harvey Weisenberg, Assemblyman, New York State
Harvey Weisenberg, is the Assistant Speaker Pro Tempore of the New York State Assembly. Mr. Weisenberg received a bachelor of science degree from New York University in 1958 and received his master of science degree from Hofstra University. He also holds a professional diploma in administration from C.W. Post University. A former police officer in the City of Long Beach, Assemblyman Weisenberg became involved in the field of education where he served for more than 20 years, first as a teacher, then as an administrator. To this day, he is an educator at heart. Mr. Weisenberg is frequently found in schools throughout his district, celebrating their accomplishments, encouraging students, and listening to the concerns of teachers and administrators.
Throughout his legislative career, Mr. Weisenberg has been a staunch advocate for people with disabilities. He is dedicated to removing barriers, improving access, and enhancing the quality of life for all with physical and mental challenges. He has secured hundreds of thousands of dollars for agencies and organizations in his district that work with and provide services to adults and children with physical and mental disabilities.
Among the many recent Weisenberg bills that became law is an important health measure prohibiting the administration of immunizations or vaccines containing mercury -- a known neurotoxin.
Because of his ongoing work to improve the lives of others, Assemblyman Weisenberg has received numerous honors and awards from many organizations and institutions. Among some of them are : The Association for Children with Down Syndrome presented him with the Down Syndrome Advocate Award, a life membership award for outstanding service to children and youth from the Nassau County Regional P.T.A. Mr. Weisenberg created the Ricky Awards to recognize the tireless contributions of outstanding medical professionals and direct caregivers who work with children and adults with mental and physical disabilities. This meaningful award, which was named after the Weisenbergs' special child, is a symbol of the gratitude of those who cannot always speak for themselves.
Assemblyman Weisenberg and his wife, Ellen, reside in Long Beach. They have five children and six grandchildren. |

Monica Howard
Monica Howard has been a professional in the field of behavior analysis and autism for six years. She is currently enrolled in her second year of the Experimental Psychology program at C.W. Post, Long Island University, and plans to receive a Masters degree in May 2009 and is pursuing her BCBA. Presently, Monica serves as the Head Instructor at the ELIJA School in Levittown, N.Y., a school for children with autism that employs the principles of behavior analysis. She has experience in creating behavior intervention plans, academic and life skills programming, staff training, and effectively applying behavior analysis techniques to learners with autism in order to enrich and empower their lives.
